    A new decade . . . .

    The fifties became 1960 . . . .

    We the students of T. H. S. engage in reminiscing . .

    Taking pride in our new building. . . .

    Planting oak trees and shrubbery. . . .

    With increased emphasis on scholastic achievements. . .

    We see many facets of our school life as varied patterns in our kaleidoscope.     

    In this year of 1960 T. H. S. has engaged in an evaluation in order to

    maintain its status as an accredited high school in the Southern Association

    of High Schools. A two-year study has been made by the faculty on

    the subject, "Improvement of Instruction through Improvement in

    Human Relations. " Areas, which have been examined, are Student-

    Student relations, Student-Teacher Relations, Teacher-Teacher relations,

    and Student-Teacher-Com­munity relations.
